Om Hospital is a 175-bedded, state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, and diagnostic services. The hospital features specialized services, including a Wellness Center dedicated to promoting community health and well-being.

With the latest technology and a network of highly qualified physicians and staff, OMHRC stands as a premier destination for top-quality healthcare services in the country.

Our journey began more than 35 years ago, in 1990 A.D. (2046 B.S.), under the name Om Nursing Home Pvt. Ltd., with the aim of providing world-class, holistic, and affordable healthcare. Initially, Om Nursing Home operated with just 8 beds and 3 doctors.

In 1996 A.D. (2052 B.S.), Om Nursing Home was replaced by Om Hospital & Research Centre (P) Ltd., located in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, Nepal. This transformation would not have been possible without the dedication of healthcare professionals and the trust the community placed in the hospital.

The hospital’s primary role is to provide comprehensive diagnostic, preventive, and curative services under one roof at an affordable price. It is also committed to training healthcare professionals and contributing valuable research to the medical field. Currently, OMHRC has its own building, covering 119,313 sq. ft., with a total land area of approximately 87,600 sq. ft., situated in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward No. 7, Chabahil, Kathmandu, Nepal.

At present, we have around 100 consultant doctors from various specialties and over 500 dedicated staff members, all working towards delivering high-quality care. Our investment in state-of-the-art technologies, including CT scan, Digital Mammography, Digital Endoscopy, Polysomnography, and Laparoscopic Surgery, enhances our ability to provide better diagnostic and curative services to our patients. We are an ISO 9001:2015 Certified hospital, ensuring quality care at every moment.

Om Hospital is a pioneer in establishing an I.V.F. center, catering to patients from across the world. Additionally, it serves as a referral center for Gynecology and Obstetrics, Hemodialysis, Oncology, Critical Care, and Complex Surgeries. Our commitment remains steadfast in meeting patients' needs and delivering compassionate care.

Due to our high-quality services and affordable treatment, we attract patients from all across Nepal and even from border areas of neighboring India. As a result, patient flow has been increasing every year, except during the COVID-19 pandemic. In mid-1999, the vision for a large-scale hospital was finalized. Today, that vision has become a reality—Om Hospital has established itself as one of the largest private hospitals in the country, offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and investigative services.
